Satyam accounts restatement likely by year-end: Achuthan

Fraud-hit Satyam’s restatment of accounts is likely to be completed by end of December, the company’s government-appointed Director C Achuthan has said.
“It is a difficult task, over eight years of accounts have to be looked at. However, we are hopeful of completing accounts restatement by this year-end,” Achuthan told PTI.

Corporation Bank raises Rs 100 cr via bonds

Public sector lender Corporation Bank today said it has raised Rs 100 crore through the issue of Tier-I bonds.
“The bank has raised Tier-I bonds for Rs 100 crore and the same (has been) allotted on August 26,” Corporation Bank said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
