Jay Cutler, who leads the NFL with 22 interceptions, is about to play a pivotal role in the AFC playoff picture. Jacksonville lost Thursday, and the Jets and Dolphins lost today (both by a field goal; the latter in overtime) and all three (plus Houston) are 7-7. If Cutler and the Bears were able to somehow defeat the Ravens … and the Raiders upset the Broncos … yeah, that equals bedlam in the AFC. Does anyone want the two Wild Card spots?

Cincinnati-San Diego could be a second round playoff preview. And a 49ers loss in Philly end San Francisco’s playoff bid because the Cardinals beat the Lions on a late TD by Anquan Boldin.
