IRB Infra bags Rs 800-Crore road project from NHAI

IRB Infrastructure Developers today said it has been selected as the successful bidder by the National Highways Authority of India for a Rs 800 crore road project. NHAI has accepted the company’s bid and has declared as the selected bidder for the Talegaon-Amravati road project, IRB Infrastructure said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange.

“Estimated cost of the project is about Rs 800 crore,” it said. The company has sought grant of Rs 216 crore from NHAI for the project, it added. The project has a concession period of 22 years, which includes construction period of 910 days.
