Zydus Pharma gets USFDA nod for Ramipril tablets

US-based Zydus Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of Zydus Cadila, has received final approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to market Ramipril tablets, in the strengths of 1.25 mg, 2.5 mg, 5 mg and 10 mg.
Ramipril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, used to treat hypertension and congestive heart failure.
